What is the Tennessee Whiskey Trail?
The Tennessee Whiskey Trail, sometimes searched as the TN whiskey trail, is run by the Tennessee Distillers Guild and published at tnwhiskeytrail.com. The distillery list says “over 30 brands + 42 destinations.” The Guild also describes a passport: a printed booklet from participating distilleries, or a digital check-in. You have to be 21 to join the passport. Stamps are collected at the distilleries in the booklet. The Guild’s FAQ says a finished passport is redeemed for a poker set.
It is a driving trail across Tennessee, not a sidewalk loop in downtown Nashville. The same site also points visitors at a dog-friendly route, a restaurant route, and a November-through-February fireside route. Those are Guild routes. This page is the distillery trail, and where a Nashville tasting fits on it.
A fuller list of Nashville tasting rooms, including rooms that are not on this trail, stays on the Nashville distilleries guide. Which tour to book at Nashville Barrel Company stays on tours.
Is Nashville Barrel Company on the Tennessee Whiskey Trail?
Yes. On November 5, 2026 the Guild’s distillery list included two Nashville Barrel Company cards. The downtown card is The Tasting Room by Nashville Barrel Company, 425 Church Street, Nashville, TN 37219, phone 615-669-0083. That is the downtown tasting room.
The other card still reads Nashville Barrel Company at 809 Heathcote Avenue, Nashville, TN 37210. That Heathcote address is not a visitor stop on this site. Do not navigate there. The public rooms are 425 Church Street and distillery HQ at 222 Fesslers Lane, Nashville, TN 37210. HQ is about 2 miles from downtown, 8–10 minutes by car, with free parking. The same tastings run at both rooms.
The walk-in Whiskey Flight from the Barrel is $35. A booking holds a time. The Premium Tasting is $50, the chocolate pairing is $40 and is booked online, the Single Barrel Experience is $150, and Blend Your Own Whiskey is $200. Buying a whole barrel is a separate inquiry on the barrel-pick page. This page does not list a barrel price.
Tennessee Whiskey Trail map
The official Tennessee Whiskey Trail map is the Guild’s map, not a map drawn for this page. Use it for the stops this table does not cover, including Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the rest of East Tennessee. Plan those as their own day. They are not a Nashville afternoon.
The map below is the Nashville start: the downtown tasting room at 425 Church Street.
